Interior Wood Design |

Nature provides us with the gift of natural wood from many species of trees around the world affording many choices for boat interior accessories. Wood graining is an option for needed repairs to damaged teak or other wood veneers. Cabinetry and millwork to new or existing wood interiors creates additional space that is also lightweight, elegant and functional. The goal is to reflect your unique and personal expression. Many items are fabricated at the LSP Creative Services workshop located near Maple Valley, Washington and then installed on your boat. Turning raw stock into a work of art or bringing damaged wood back to its original state has been a life time pleasure for me. I first became aware of my enthusiasm towards working with wood in my earlier years of grade school. It was there that I made my first wood wall accessory. My wife says it is a favorite of hers and hangs it in her office where she can display gifts her client’s have given her over the years. Before I switched my major in college to Industrial Construction Management, I started out with studies in botany. A constant theme has followed me throughout life and that is recognizing a piqued interest in the natural, God-given gifts of sand, plants and wood. The ocean and it’s framework of sandy and rock beaches are favorite places to visit. While I find great pleasure in walking sandy beaches, the glass that is produced from sand added another dimension to these gifts. Together, my wife and I coordinate patterns and colors that will be used to enhance wood accessories. Sharon adds her skills in template design for frosted and etched glass. If incorporated into entrances, polycarbonate, and similar products, are also installed to protect the work. |

From then on, I found opportunities to build furniture and accessories for my family and friends. After 25 years my wife and I worked together on the side where we continued to work with commissioned wood, glass and art pieces. She was sought out to teach fine art to children and I taught woodworking at the local community college. |

Eventually, I built the additional 2000 square feet to our home. My wife designed the wood moldings and trims where I then crafted each piece to be placed throughout the home. Over time, our business became distinctively focused for the maritime community and remains that way today where I am able to design, fabricate and finish wood according to your vision and specifications.
